Do you want prayer or straight atk/str/def levels? This is your choice. Personally, I would like to have more prayers, which is why I'd consider hill giants. In the late 40s, I'd use hill giants to RuneScape Gold get additional prayer as well as flesh crawlers like previously mentioned. The situation will not change until the 1950s, when moss giants could be an option to replace hill giants. When you reach the sixties, you may want to consider the security spiders' stronghold.

If you're in the Burstinglobs group chat usually, you'll encounter somebody who's hybridized and requires a single mage partner to kill Rex to their benefit while they take out Supreme as well as Prime. This means you do not have to be worried about Supreme or Prime whilst you're in there, unless either of you are incredibly bad when it comes to what you're looking at.

I'd suggest using Tubby's setup with mesmerizing boots, and then a Ring of Life until you're sure, and then start risking a bit more expensive equipment. If there is no one in Burstinglobs looking for a solo mage, just ask if anyone is hybridding/tribridding and can let you hop worlds from theirs, easier than having to Cheap RS3 Gold kill Supreme/Prime to start your trip.
