Also, make sure you have a complete list of lobsters or OSRS gold swordfish. Swordfish is much better in my opinion, but I killed Elvarg at 40-50 combat by using 3-5 lobbies. This set-up is for the final boss battle against elvarg the Dragon, by the way. Another benefit is that having 33 magic is a way to save you 10k gp (for telegrabing a map piece instead of buying this from the goblin)

Be aware that you'll need 33 quest points in order to start this quest. (u will need to complete all non-mem quests to earn 3 quest point) If u want to, feel free to contact me in games (Tarun Dragon) and I'll be more than happy to assist you, and also fund you in case you're low with money. The total cost for the quest is 50k, to 60k. In the time I did it, the rune scimmies cost me at 60k, so it cost me much more.

Everyone has given you the most beneficial advice, but there are two issues. I think an amulet of power is more beneficial than strength, as it enhances your precision and defence. A sword that is short can beat an axe against dragons who are weak to stabbing attacks.

I'm gonna mention this also, but i was unaware that he'd require an extra atk in his level, and yes, dragons are rlly weak when it comes to stabbing (was trying to come up with an F2P stab, however, i couldn't find one). If you choose to utilize a rune sword, be sure that it is set to a stab stab atk.

It's not as fast and stronger than a scimmy. However, on the positive side, you might be able to hit more often and it's less expensive. Also, if you are blessed with 43 prayer, you'll be able to practically kill it, without any dmg whatsoever. But don't, u rllly do not need prayers to cheap OSRS GP kill elvarg.
