Brendan Donohue, 2K League President, noted that 2K22 MT the 2020-21 offseason assessment process was one of our largest to at. It included 38 tournaments, which were hosted by teams as part of the NBA 2K League Draft Prospect Series. There were also three international qualifying tournaments and a revamped Women in Gaming initiative. The 2K league's first-ever combine specifically for athletes who are draft eligible. We look forward to an exciting evening for the draft with our teams adding the top 2K players in the world, in preparation for our fourth season.

The 2021 draft is four rounds long which will see all 23 teams filling in the roster of six players. There are currently 63 spots available in the 2K League, and the draft order has been approved.

The 2K League will host this draft as a full-on event. The event will include two-vs.-two MyPark, interviews with influential people like Champ2K, Dominus and Dribble2Much Special guests include 2 Chainz and Robert Horry, NBA champion, and Daryl Morey, president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, among others who will make their players.

Scott Cole will host the event again, along with Malik Fort, broadcaster and esports host, Autumn Johnson, 2K League sideline reporter and Ms.Basketball hosts sports.
